Correctness of Design to Consider

The design aims at dealing with various tasks. But in most cases, it is described as a matter that is devoted to solving problems of different levels meaning structural, visual, and others. So, this problem-solving necessarily has to be correct!

A great example that has to be given here is this. Steve Jobs hired a designer named Paul Rand in order to create the brand identity. And, he thought that Rand would present him with at least several solutions. But it didn’t happen that way. Rand considered that work a bit differently and offered just one way out.

Actually, there is some sense in this. Suggesting just one solution to the problem is a rather fine option to stick to. But what matters the most here is this: the design that is being used should suit the context greatly. This is what the designers must aim to achieve in their work.

More about the Connection Between Design and Context

It is important to keep in mind that when a person visits a certain website, the first impression is especially vital. It is all about the content but the audience perceives with their eyes, and it is not less significant how the content is packed on a particular site.

The design really matters as long as when a user enters the site, he tries to experience the atmosphere there. If it does not seem special to him or it is not at all connected with the key topic (the kind of services and so on), he is likely to leave such a website. Accordingly, the business owner or a person promoting a site will not receive any profit from such a potential client.

So, here is a certain conclusion: design should not necessarily be correct but it has to be meaningful and carry a proper atmosphere. In this case, success will surely arrive!
